COLLAGES

These collages are from a series made during 2009 and 2010. First I quickly painted shapes and images and colors onto hundreds of pieces of paper. I piled these sheets, sorted by both subject and color, all across the studio floor. Then, maneuvering through this maze, I chose various images, trimmed them to size and, finally, glued them into place.
